One of Britain’s largest 5 Star hotels is looking for a qualified Housekeeping Manager to head the team at this well reputed hotel
Description: Housekeeping Manager is responsible for: overseeing daily field operations; reviewing call logs daily; Informing the Executive Housekeeper of issues or problems of significance; conducting morning meetings with staff; documenting employee performance; conducting performance evaluations on Housekeepers, Dispatchers and Laundry Attendants and Supervisors; monitoring absence log and responding to excessive absences or problems; Ensuring rooms are cleaned to standard and in a timely manner. Requirements include: a minimum of one-year continuous employment in Supervisory or Management capacity; good language skills (most be good in Inglese, other languages is an added advantage) and math skills; a working knowledge of basic accounting; ability to physically clean rooms, bend, lift, stoop and climb stairs. This position reports to the Director of Housekeeping and is responsible to manage the housekeeping and laundry teams.The position Requires prior supervisory / management experience in a full service hotel or resort.Will be responsible to assist room attendant by inspecting rooms, assist with hiring of staff, be part of the forecast and Budgetary needs, coaching and counseling associates.
